Wambui, the currently the County Secretary for Nyeri County, has spent most of her life as a human rights advocate. She previously served as a Commissioner at the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights and was instrumental in the establishment of the Institute for Business and Human Rights in Kenya.
Dr. Celestine Nyamu is a Senior Lecturer at the School of Law at the University of Nairobi. She has published widely on issues of the law, land rights and development in Africa. She holds a PhD in Law from the Harvard Law School.
Prof. Winnie Mitullah, a highly respected Kenyan scholar, is currently the Director of the Institute Development Studies (IDS) at the University of Nairobi. She is a renowned expert on issues of political development, urban planning, gender and civil society in Kenya and Africa. She holds a PhD from the University of York, United Kingdom.
Francis Ang’ila is SUNY’s Chief of Party for the Kenya Parliamentary Strengthening Programme. He has many years’ experience in civil society and has also served as a Commissioner on the Independent Review Commission on the General Elections held in Kenya on 27 December 2007 (IREC).
